My name is Junseo, and I live in Da Nang, Vietnam with my family.
After living in Vietnam for several years, I realized that there is often a big difference between experiencing Vietnam as a traveler and actually living here.
Restaurant prices can change from one neighborhood to another. A place that looks popular online may feel completely different when you visit. Local eating habits, markets, transportation, and everyday customs can also be difficult to understand when you first arrive.
That experience is why I started OurViet.

I don’t want OurViet to be just another website that repeats generic travel information.
Whenever possible, I try to include observations from actually living in Vietnam β what people eat, what things really cost, how locals order food, and the small details that travelers may not notice during a short visit.
You will also increasingly find original photographs, firsthand restaurant experiences, and information gathered directly from places in Vietnam.
Prices, opening hours, menus, and travel conditions can change, so I always recommend checking important details directly with the relevant business or service before visiting.
